Englewood’s central location makes the area a natural transportation hub. It offers easy access to a variety of transportation, including major highways, trains and the Light Rail to meet the needs of the business and residential community.
The Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) Light Rail system offers quick and easy access to cultural, educational, entertainment, recreational and business activities along the Santa Fe corridor, downtown Denver, and the Auraria Campus. Englewood has Light Rail stops at Englewood CityCenter and the Oxford Station.
Englewood’s public bus service is provided by Regional Transportation District (RTD). TNM&O (Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma), a subsidiary of Greyhound, also provides regional bus service with a station operating out of central Englewood.
Three rail lines bisect the Englewood commercial district, adding value to commercial enterprises. Businesses benefit from the availability of over 150 trucking companies that service Englewood and the metro area.
US Highway 285/ Hampden Avenue, US Highway 85/Santa Fe Drive and Broadway provide fast and easy access from every direction to Englewood’s commercial, retail and industrial areas. Interstate 70, less than 10 miles away, and Interstate 25, less than four miles away, are also conveniently close.
Free Circulator Shuttle
The City of Englewood provides a free circulator shuttle connecting the community from City Center Englewood (the Light Rail Station) through downtown and the medical complexes. The free shuttle is the result of a partnership with MV Transportation, the Regional Transportation District(RTD) and the local business community.
